Why is "democracy" always used to restrict freedom by the left?

Liberals use the media for their propaganda, just as Adolph Hitler did his in the 1930's. If Obama is against gay marriage, I give him credit, I'll never be on his bandwagon, but that may be the only thing I'll ever agree with this guy on!
