Why aren't schools teaching the science of magic?

This whole evolution thing is a scary proposition. There's no ironclad evidence, only well-researched theories that have way too much merit to be true. I mean it's just a theory, so why are these schools so hell-bent to make it a requirement? Schools need to get with the program and spread the cherished values that have been in place for thousands of years. The time is now to teach the science of magic.
