Sad/quiet songs about heartache, missing someone, etc?

If you're looking for indie try Bright Eyes. I've just discovered and fallen in love with them. Their style is different and might take some getting used to but I think they are great. They really make you feel and think. Slower ones are "No Lies, Just Love" and "Landlocked Blues".
