Is it true that Australia has like almost no ozone layer?

I live in Australia right next to the bush and we don't usually shake out accessories though we do shake out shoes that we keep outside. I've seen exactly one funnel web and about ten redbacks but we mostly see huntsmen and whitetips. Whitetips are pretty poisonous huntsmen are REALLY big but aren't poisonous and don't usually bite. Pale people just put on sunscreen. Also if your pale and you live here you usually get covered in freckles. We do have an ozone layer.
