I have collected many of Farquharson, [Finley, Martha]. books. Has anyone heard of signing the contract?

Farquharson, Martha [Finley, Martha]. I have collected many books by Martha and heard of one called signing the contract and what it cost. Does anyone have any info on it, or is my friend just sending me on a wild goose chase since I haven't found any info on it during a search.
