He's kinda obsessed with guitars, but he's pretty nice...?

there's this guy, he's a year older than me. (im in high school). he kinda likes me and we've hung out once. all he ever talks about is guitars, which i know nothing about. he's pretty nice, but he's basically a nerd, and all his friends are too. he's an actor, and is into anything to do with music. we just aren't from the same "group." (im more into athletics and stuff) do u have any advice???? i just want to be friends, but all my girl friends think he's kinda creepy.
